An elegantly-crafted story of blackmail, deceit and redemption, Hope is the story of 20-year-old Franciszek (Rafal Fudalej), who witnesses and records the theft of a rare painting from the Warsaw church where his father works. Discovering that the thief is respected gallery owner and politician Benedict Weber, Franciszek finds himself sinking further into a twisted game of blackmail of his own making, and as he tries to make Weber undo his crime. The scene is set for a symbolic and thoughtful moral tale that thrills at every twist.
Followed by a Q&A with Kamilla Baar and Rafal Fudalej chaired by Jorg Tittel
